For group practices: to access an individual physician’s section, your physician’s section will be listed, in the left navigation bar, under the group site pages.

To search for an article: enter your search term into the search box, located in the left navigation bar, and click GO.

1. The search box does not accept Boolean expressions (AND, OR, NOT), but you can narrow the information you receive using the following methods:
   • To find an article containing a specific phrase, enter two or more words, with only spaces between the words. This will list only articles containing the exact phrase provided. For example: Type in skin cancer to receive only articles containing this phrase. You will not receive articles that refer to skin cancer as "cancer of the skin."

   • To find an article that contains several words or phrases in no particular order, enter two or more words, with commas between the words. This will list all articles containing these words within the article. For example: Type in skin, cancer to receive articles referring to "skin cancer" and "cancer of the skin," as well articles about cancer that refer to skin, and articles about skin that refer to cancer.

   • The search function will not currently find comparable terms. You may wish to do a search for a specific condition, as well as a secondary search utilizing a more general term. For example: If an article refers to "squamous cell carcinoma," but does not use the phrase "skin cancer," this article will not appear in your search results. You may wish to search on squamous cell carcinoma for articles that refer to this condition specifically, as well as skin cancer for more general information.

2. Append an asterisk (*) to a word stem to find all articles containing words with that word stem. For example: Type cardio* to receive all articles that contain words beginning with cardio-, such as cardiovascular, cardiology, etc.
